Symptoms of Cat Urinary Tract Infection

  • Check for blood in your cat's urine.
  • Your cat may cry or strain when urinating.
  • The urine has a strong, horrible smell. (Especially a very strong ammonia smell) 
  • Your cat may have more reoccurring accidents in places other than the litter box.

    If your cat has any of these symptoms, take her to a vet right away. Most urinary infections will clear up easily, especially if caught early.
